Government & Public Affairs
The Government and Public Affairs Division is responsible for conducting lobbying efforts and ensuring that the Tribe’s best interest is properly represented, coordinated and monitored at local, state and federal government levels. The division is also responsible for public relations, designed to create and maintain a favorable image of the Tribe. Government and Public Affairs oversees the Tribe’s website, social media, and newsletter.
For more information, please visit The Roundhouse. The Roundhouse is available only to Poarch Creek Tribal Members and Tribal Government Employees.
The Internal Communications team is responsible for a myriad of Tribal initiatives ranging from the facilitation of community meetings to the publication of the Tribe’s Annual Report. However, the common thread between these responsibilities is a keen focus on communication to and from Tribal Members and Tribal Government Employees. The primary outcome that the Internal Communications team endeavors to achieve is to connect Tribal Members, leaders, and employees of the Tribe to truth and wisdom so that community ties are strengthened and Tribal Members feel a greater sense of ownership in the Tribe’s future.
