Environmental Education Camp & Fishing Rodeo

Fishing and conservation at 7th annual youth camp

The 7th Annual Environmental Education Camp and Fishing Rodeo took place from May 29 to May 31. On the first day, various organizations, including the Alabama Marine Police and the Environmental Protection Agency, provided informative sessions. The event aimed to educate over 200 youth from the PCI Boys and Girls Club about environmental conservation. The last two days featured a fishing rodeo at Magnolia Branch, where kids improved their fishing skills and learned responsible angling practices under the guidance of experienced anglers and staff. The event highlighted the importance of enjoying and caring for the outdoors.
