Phase 1 of the four-phase Jack Springs Road Improvement Coalition project is scheduled to take place from August 2026 through April 2027. The project will improve local roadways, including safety and drainage. Please use caution and prepare for delays while traveling through the area.
Road closures and detours will be announced as the construction progresses.
Jack Springs Road just north of Dollar General will be closed Monday, September 14 starting at 4 a.m. for cross drain replacement, weather permitting. We expect it to reopen by the end of the day. This detour is different from previous closures, so please follow the posted signs carefully and allow extra travel time. Police will be on-site and at key points along the detour to keep traffic moving safely.
