Ice Worlds is a unique storytelling project that encourages tribal youth to explore their community’s relationship to Mother Earth. Funded by the National Science Foundation, teens from four Native American nations, including the Poarch Creek Indians, interviewed elders, family, and community citizens about projects that highlight the preservation and conservation of natural resources. In this video, Poarch descendant Alex Bowen, age 15, explores the commitment by the Poarch Creek Indians to help reestablish the Long Leaf Pine Forest.
