Larry Flurnoy

Larry Flurnoy

Archive

Larry grew up in Poarch when the Tribe was struggling economically and opportunities to learn crafts and traditions were few. Today, he plays a significant role in helping his kids reclaim the traditions that bring them closer to who they are: powwow dancing, Creek language, basket weaving. He is proud that his children are passionate and curious about their roots and that he has contributed to keeping Poarch history alive.
