The Facilities Services Division is comprised of Facilities, Natural Resources and Public Works Departments that provide division-related services to all Tribal Government programs, services, functions and activities as well as services related to internal maintenance and construction for housing units within the 5-county service area.

Buildings & Grounds

The Buildings & Grounds Department provides the management and maintenance of the Tribe’s buildings and structures. Buildings & Grounds is also responsible for custodial services, maintenance and repair on all Tribal administrative buildings, including the Fire Station, Fred L. McGhee Early Learning Center, Cultural Department, Tribal Police Station and Tribal Council Offices

Natural Resources

The Natural Resources Department was formed in 2017 and oversees the following:

Land & Forestry Management
Community Garden

Public Works

The Public Works department is responsible for the maintenance, custodial service and construction of all Tribal property for Tribal Administration, along with garbage and waste disposal. The Department also maintains the roads, right-of-ways and bridges of designated Bureau of Indian Affair’s roads on the Poarch Creek Reservation. Maintenance of Tribal grounds and recreation facilities are included in the department’s responsibilities.
