Joining the Poarch Creek Powwow Club sparked Colby’s passion for the grass and chicken dances. Traveling to powwows throughout the US, meeting people from other tribes and bonding over a rich, shared history, allowed Colby to experience the freedom and exhilaration of dance and culture, and to be part of a unique and inclusive world connected to ancient roots.
