The Natural Resources Department was formed in 2017 and oversees both Magnolia Branch Wildlife Reserve and Perdido River Farms.

 


 

Magnolia Branch Wildlife Reserve

Magnolia Branch Wildlife Reserve activities include hiking, biking, bird watching, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, riding on our horse trail, and an array of fun ways to stay active. MBWR offers 47 full amenity RV sites that include water, electric and sewer and 20 RV sites with water and electric hookups. MBWR also has 15 improved primitive tent sites with water and electric, as well as primitive camping availability.

Perdido River Farms

Perdido River Farms serves as a Tribal entity that takes the lead over the stewardship of the Tribe’s agricultural land and operates the Tribe’s cattle enterprise. PRF consists of 2,870 acres being owned and 87 acres leased from adjoining landowners. PRF is a cow and calf operation consisting of 800 brood cows and a strong supporter of the Tribal youth 4-H steer and heifer program.
